Far from having improved his bill in response to the criticisms about humanitarian considerations in previous bills, the minister instead says that he will not give in to the “immigration industry” lobby whose criticisms only reinforce the idea that the government is truly on the right track.
Loin d'avoir amélioré son projet de loi en regard des critiques des projets de loi antérieurs face aux considérations humanitaires, le ministre rétorque plutôt qu'il ne cédera pas au lobby de « l'industrie de l'immigration » dont les critiques confortent son idée selon laquelle le gouvernement est véritablement dans le droit chemin.
