TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

This applies in particular to reconversion of certain varieties (Mavra and Tsebelia varieties in Greece and Forcheimer Havana IIc variety and Geudertheimer hybrids in Italy) to other crops, based on Regulation (EEC) No 3616/92, offering an aid of 2Ecu/kg.
C'est particulièrement vrai de la reconversion de certaines variétés (Mavra et Tsebelia, en Grèce, Forcheimer Havana IIc et hybrides de Geudertheimer, en Italie) à d'autres cultures, en application du règlement CEE n 3616/92, qui prévoit l'octroi d'une aide de 2 écus par kilo.

Whereas measures to orientate production can help to stabilize the tobacco market and improve the quality of production; whereas specific aid will enable producer groups to contribute towards the improvement of the organization and orientation of production; whereas a research programe financed with the proceeds of a deduction from the premium will enable tobacco growing to be brought more closely into line with Community requirements as regards public health; whereas, lastly, a conversion programme for growers of Mavra, Tsebelia, Forchheimer Havanna IIc and hybrids of Geudertheimer tobacco is necessary because of the importance of these varieties for the economy of certain Community regions;
considérant que l'assainissement du marché du tabac et l'amélioration qualitative de la production peuvent être favorisés par différentes mesures d'orientation de la production; qu'en particulier, une aide spécifique permettra aux groupements de producteurs de contribuer à l'amélioration de l'organisation et de l'orientation de la production; qu'en outre un programme de recherche financé par une diminution de la prime permettra de mieux orienter la production de tabac vers les exigences communautaires en matière de santé publique, et qu'enfin un programme de reconversion pour les producteurs des variétés de Mavra, Tsebelia, Forchheimer Havanna IIc et les hybrides de Geudertheimer s'avère nécessaire compte tenu de l'importance de la culture de ces variétés pour l'économie de certaines régions de la Communauté;

A three-year programme for the conversion of plantations of Mavra, Tsebelia, Forchheimer Havanna IIc and hybrids of Geudertheimer tobacco to varieties more in line with market requirements or to other agricultural crops shall be adopted by the Commission in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 23.
Un programme triennal de reconversion des variétés Mavra, Tsebelia, Forchheimer Havanna IIc et les hybrides de Geudertheimer vers d'autres variétés plus adaptées au marché, ou vers d'autres cultures agricoles est décidé par la Commission selon la procédure prévue à l'article 23.
