I can therefore attest to the fact that, as the Leader of the Opposition said, we were able to produce unanimous reports in large part thanks to his humanistic attitude, which would transcend party lines to get to the bottom of problems and find real solutions to the challenges facing the committee.
Je peux donc témoigner du fait que, effectivement — comme le chef de l'opposition l'a mentionné —, si l'on arrivait à faire un travail qui accouchait de rapports unanimes, c'était en grande partie grâce à son attitude humaniste qui voulait transcender les lignes partisanes pour aller au fond des problèmes et trouver des solutions qui répondaient réellement aux enjeux sur lesquels le comité travaillait.
