I must say to the hon. Leader of the Opposition that I really appreciate the way Air Canada President Hollis Harris reacted by saying that he appreciated the work done by the Government of Canada with regard not only to the Hong Kong matter but also to the bilateral agreement with the U.S., and especially to Air Canada being given access to the Japanese market.
Je dois dire à l'honorable chef de l'opposition que j'apprécie surtout la façon dont le président d'Air Canada, M. Hollis Harris, a réagi en disant qu'il appréciait le travail qui avait été fait par le gouvernement du Canada, non seulement dans le dossier de Hong Kong, mais aussi en vertu de l'entente bilatérale avec les États-Unis, et surtout avec la pénétration du marché japonais qui a été donnée à Air Canada.
