One thing I have observed is that if there are two or three people working together and they own the company, the guy who isn't pulling his share of the load soon has what we call peer pressure to pull up his socks, whereas in the case where they are just employees you tend to say, I want to keep peace in the family so I won't say anything, and nothing happens.
