Madam Speaker, it is with great pleasure that I rise in the House today to speak to Motion No. 519, and to also, at your indulgence, congratulate my colleague, the member of Parliament for Kenora, who in his short time here since the election of 2008 has done an absolutely fantastic job, not only here in his work as a parliamentarian but obviously back in his riding representing his constituents.
Madame la Présidente, je suis très heureux de participer aujourd’hui au débat sur la motion 519 et, avec votre permission, de féliciter mon collègue, le député de Kenora, qui, depuis son élection à la Chambre en 2008, soit très peu de temps, fait un travail remarquable en sa qualité de parlementaire, non seulement ici, mais aussi et surtout dans sa circonscription en représentant ses électeurs.
