I wish I could also thank the Minister of Transport for making himself available yesterday during four hours of questioning, but at that particular time he failed to inform the committee that he was going to leave the House and make an announcement of $692 million for VIA Rail which had never appeared before the House.
Je remercie également le ministre des Transports, qui s'est prêté hier à une séance d'interrogation de quatre heures. Il a cependant négligé à ce moment-là d'informer le comité qu'il devait quitter la Chambre pour annoncer une subvention de 692 millions de dollars à VIA Rail, dont il n'avait jamais été question à la Chambre.
