Comme suite à la réponse qu'elle a apportée à la question H-0649/02 , annonçant que des renseignements ont été demandés au gouvernement irlandais à propos du respect de la directive 85/337/CEE ainsi que des incidences du projet d'autoroute à l'étude sur le patrimoine archéologique de Carrickmines Castle, la Commission compte-t-elle déterminer d'urgence, étant donné l'intention déclarée des autorités irlandaises de détruire une partie des vestiges et de construire une autoroute sur presque toute l'étendue de ces derniers, si l'évaluation de l'impact sur l'environnement a pris dûment en compte les effets du chantier sur le patrimoine archéologique que recèle le site et s'il convient d'effectuer une évaluation révisée et complète avant que soient engagés des travaux risquant d'affecter l'intégrité d'un site archéologique sans pareil ?
