When we hear the minister saying that nothing has been done, that he is waiting for the bill and then he will consult, we must be allowed to have some doubts as to what has happened and, thus, the necessity to have these hearings so it will be clear and everyone can deal with this very delicate matter, which is akin to censorship as I have said, in full knowledge of the status of the current legislation, regulations and guidelines and whether they mesh or not.
Lorsque nous entendons le ministre dire que rien n'a été fait, qu'il attend le projet de loi et qu'il consultera par la suite, nous sommes en droit de douter de ce qui s'est produit. De là, la nécessité de tenir ces audiences, de façon à ce que cela soit clair et que tous puissent comprendre cette question délicate qui rappelle beaucoup la censure, comme je l'ai déjà dit, en toute connaissance de la législation, des directives et des règlements existants, afin de déterminer si tous les éléments sont cohérents.
