The end of this third round marks the conclusion of the initial phase of negotiations and paves the way for EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht and US Trade Representative Ambassador Michael Froman to hold a political stocktaking meeting early in 2014.

In Washington, Commissioner De Gucht will meet with Deputy National Security Advisor Michael Froman and US Trade Representative Ron Kirk on 21 June. Both play a central role in defining US trade policy and De Gucht will make the case for a successful conclusion of the DDA and concrete delivery of results by the TEC.
Le 21 juin, à Washington, M. De Gucht s’entretiendra avec le conseiller adjoint à la sécurité nationale, M. Michael Froman, et avec le représentant des États-Unis pour les questions commerciales, M.
