Therefore, the GGC strongly encourages this committee to recommend that the Government of Canada aggressively pursue a WTO agreement that is consistent with the Doha Round objectives and achieve the elimination of all forms of export subsidies, significant reductions in trade-distorting domestic support, and substantial increases in market access.
