In April 2002, the Commission also decided to bring another action against Germany before the Court (see IP/02/563) in connection with the obligation imposed on workers from non-EU countries posted for the provision of services to obtain a "work visa", which was issued only if the worker had been working for the firm providing the service for at least a year before the posting.
