(68) In order to lay down the detailed conditions for the recognition of disease-free status, the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union should be delegated to the Commission in respect of the criteria for obtaining such status, the evidence needed to substantiate freedom from disease, special disease prevention and control measures, restrictions, information to be provided, derogations, and conditions for the maintenance, suspension, withdrawal or restoration of disease-free status.
