Does the Council recall the supplementary question asked by Mr David Martins (PSE) following Oral Question H‑0577/04 asked by the GUE/NGL Group at the European Parliament sitting of 23 February 2005, in which Mr Martins pointed out that Mr Vanunu had been taken from European soil illegally in 1986 and in which he asked if the Council would encourage the Israeli Government to stop their persecution of this individual, allow him to leave Israel and, if he so desired, to live in the European Union, to which Minister Schmit, on behalf of the Luxembourg Presidency replied, ‘yes, I will’?

By letter of 11 May 2007, Mr Meierhofer submitted a request for review of the decision of 10 May 2007, taking the view, with reference to the report which he himself had drawn up following the oral test and which is annexed to the application, that he had answered correctly at least 80% of the questions during that test.
