With Europe delaying in finding its feet and appearing to be cowardly, weak and, for a long time, to have no voice in the historically important event of the last decade, by which I mean the uprisings in the Arab world, with the Member States failing to take a united stand on the critical UN Security Council Resolution 1973 on Libya, and with the Union hesitating on Syria, I wonder whether perhaps the question has already been answered in practice.
Avec une Europe qui tarde à trouver ses marques et qui semble lâche, faible et ne pas avoir, pour très longtemps, voix au chapitre dans l’événement historique marquant de la dernière décennie, et j’entends par là les soulèvements dans le monde arabe, avec des États membres qui n’adoptent pas de position unie sur la résolution 1973, cruciale, du Conseil de sécurité sur la Libye, et avec une Union qui hésite à propos de la Syrie, je me demande si l’on n’a peut-être pas déjà répondu à la question dans la pratique.
