Through the EU Platform for Blending in External Cooperation, the Commission is working together with finance institutions on increasing the catalytic effect of blending in crowding in more private financing through greater use of financial instruments such as guarantees, equity and other risk-sharing instruments for infrastructure investments.
Par l’intermédiaire de la plateforme européenne de financement mixte pour la coopération extérieure, la Commission travaille en étroite collaboration avec les institutions financières afin de renforcer l’effet catalyseur du cofinancement pour attirer davantage de financements privés, en recourant plus fréquemment aux instruments financiers tels que les garanties, les fonds propres et les autres instruments de partage des risques pour les investissements dans les infrastructures.
