Many different figures have been thrown around, so to get an understanding of where we are with respect to costs, I called the Parliamentary Budget Officer, Kevin Page, who we fought hard to have available to us when we passed Bill C-2, the Federal Accountability Act. His office told me that on November 11 they requested information from the government in order to come up with a definitive figure in relation to the costs if the crime bill, Bill C-10, is implemented.
