7. Welcomes the determination expressed at the Niamey Regional Summit of 20 and 21 January 2015 by the 13 participating countries, in particular the military commitment of Chad, together with Cameroon, Niger
and Nigeria, to the fight against the terrorist threats of Boko Haram; encourages a strengthening of this regional response, using all existing tools and in full compliance with international law; calls on ECOWAS, in particular, to continue to make its new Counter-Terrorism Strategy operational, paying particular attention to the containment of cross-border illicit flows of arms, we
apons, fig ...[+++]hters and contraband; further insists that without such cooperation the violence is likely to continue, undermining peace and stability across the region; points, in this regard, to the pledge of allegiance made by Boko Haram to Islamic State, and to the necessity of impeding any further coordination or cooperation between the two terrorist organisations and the expansion of this threat; 7. se félicite de la détermination affichée par les 13 pays qui ont participé au sommet régional de Niamey les 20 et 21 janvier 2015, notamment de la volonté du Tchad, appuyé par le Cameroun, le Niger et le Nigeria, d'apporter une réponse militaire aux menaces terroristes de Boko Haram; encourage un renforcement de cette réponse régionale, à l'aide de tous les outils existants et dans le respect plein et entier du droit international; demande en particulier à la CEDEAO de continuer à rendre opérationnelle sa nouvelle stratégie de lutte contre le terrorisme en attachant une attention particulière à endiguer les flux transfrontaliers illicites d'armement, d'armes, de combattant
s et de produits de contrebande ...[+++]; souligne que faute d'une telle coopération, les violences risquent de se poursuivre, mettant en péril la paix et la stabilité de l'ensemble de la région; met en avant, à cet égard, le serment d'allégeance de Boko Haram envers le groupe État islamique et la nécessité d'empêcher toute nouvelle coordination ou coopération entre les deux organisations terroristes, de même que l'expansion de cette menace;
