A comprehensive, modern and secure web site is needed to provide all the relevant information for migration management authorities involved in the fight against illegal immigration. The Commission has, therefore, set up a web site, called “Information and Coordination Network”. The site is technically an “interest group” on the Commission's existing “CIRCA” system (Communication and Information Resource Centre Administrator), introduced for information exchange among Member States and the institutions on all kinds of topics.
