The debate on the institutions at the Convention's plenary session of 20 and 21 January reassured me that it is fully aware of the lessons of the past, and in particular of the need to avoid exacerbating interinstitutional wrangles and weakening the Commission.
Le débat institutionnel qui a eu lieu en plénière à la Convention le 20 et 21 janvier m'a rassuré que la Convention est pleinement consciente des leçons à tirer du passé et notamment de la nécessité d'éviter une consolidation de querelles inter-institutionnelles et un affaiblissement de la Commission.
