E. whereas the efforts to initiate democratic changes in North Africa were brought about by people, mainly the younger generation, living in societies with unequal wealth distribution, high unemployment, insufficient social security, a lack of education and social prospects or even living below the poverty line and surviving thanks to the informal economy;
