– (PT) I voted in favour of Giuseppe Gargani’s report on the Conditions of employment of other servants of the European Communities because I feel that the proposal to introduce a new category of staff specific to the European Parliament, covering parliamentary assistants who work in one of the three places of work of the European Parliament (Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg), will clarify and improve the current situation of these assistants, while respecting the specific nature of their duties.
– (PT) J’ai voté en faveur du rapport de Giuseppe Gargani sur le régime applicable aux autres agents des Communautés européennes parce que je pense que la proposition visant à créer une nouvelle catégorie de personnel propre au Parlement européen et couvrant les assistants parlementaires employés dans l’un des trois sièges du Parlement européen (Bruxelles, Strasbourg et Luxembourg) permettra de clarifier et d’améliorer la situation actuelle de ces assistants tout en respectant la nature spécifique de leur mission.
