IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

In order to facilitate the regular exchange of information about the national application of the concepts of safe country of origin, safe third country and European safe third country as well as a regular review by the Commission of the use of those concepts by Member States, and to prepare for a potential further harmonisation in the future, Member States should notify or periodically inform the Commission about the third countries to which the concepts are applied.
Afin de faciliter l’échange régulier d’informations relatives à l’application nationale des concepts de pays d’origine sûr, de pays tiers sûr et de pays tiers européen sûr ainsi que l’examen régulier, par la Commission, de l’utilisation de ces concepts par les États membres, et de préparer une harmonisation éventuelle plus poussée dans le futur, les États membres devraient aviser ou informer périodiquement la Commission au sujet des pays tiers auxquels ces concepts sont appliqués.

Discrimination between European and third country residents is ratified, as is the freedom of movement laid down in the Treaty of Amsterdam, or the right to live as a family, even though this is recognised in international law.
