During the period 1994-2011, the Fund was called upon for a cumulative amount of EUR 478 million and had a recovery rate of 100% (see table 1 of the SWD).

This figure comes from a reduction of 3 203,7 million on the expenditure side (compared to the initial EUR 2 768,7 million) and an increase of EUR 241,6 million on the revenue side (to be compared to EUR 478,7 million in the initial amending budget).

As for the increase in the forecast of revenue the Commission foresee a net increase for an amount of EUR 478,7 million after the revision of the forecasts of own resources and other revenue, in accordance with Article 16 of Council Regulation No 1150/2000 of 22 May 2000.
