The system set out in Council Regulation (EC) No 1868/94 of 27 July 1994 establishing a quota system in relation to the production of potato starch will no longer be required once the related aid for starch potato growers laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No 73/2009 of 19 January 2009 establishing common rules for direct support schemes under the Common Agricultural Policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers is abolished.

(6) In establishing a quota system in accordance with subsection (2), CFC shall establish its allocation for each non-signatory territory in such a manner that the number of kilograms of chicken produced in the non-signatory territory and authorized to be marketed in interprovincial trade into the signatory provinces in a year, under quotas allotted by CFC, equals the average number of kilograms of chicken produced in the non-signatory territory, and marketed in interprovincial trade into the signatory provinces, in a year, during the five years beginning on January 1, 1986 and ending on December 31, 1990.

(3) Subject to section 6, the Agency, in establishing the quota system pursuant to subsection (1), shall provide for the allotment of quotas in such a manner that the maximum number of broiler hatching eggs produced in a province and authorized pursuant to quotas to be marketed in interprovincial or export trade in the twelve month period commencing on the effective date of regulations made by the Agency for the purpose of implementing the quota system when taken together with the number of broiler hatching eggs produced in the province and authorized pursuant to quotas allotted by the Commodity Board of the province to be marketed in intraprovincial trade in the same period, and the number of broiler hatching eggs produced in the province and anticipated to be marketed in the same period as authorized other than by such quotas will equal the total number of broiler hatching eggs set out for the province in the table to this section.

(2) The Agency, in establishing a quota system, shall assign quotas in such manner that the number of dozens of eggs produced in a province and authorized to be marketed in interprovincial and export trade in the year 1973, when taken together with the number of dozens of eggs produced in the province and authorized to be marketed in intraprovincial trade in the same year, pursuant to quotas assigned by the appropriate Board or Commodity Board, and the number of dozens of eggs produced in the province and anticipated to be marketed in the same year, other than as authorized by a quota assigned by the Agency or by the appropriate Board or Commodity Board, will equal the number of dozens of eggs set out in section 3 of this Plan for the province.

(2) Subject to section 6.2, the Agency, in establishing a quota system pursuant to subsection (1), shall provide for the allotment of quotas in such a manner that the maximum number of chicks produced in a non-signatory province or in an area that comprises non-signatory provinces and authorized pursuant to quotas to be marketed into a signatory province, during the 12 month period commencing on the effective date of the order or regulation made by the Agency for the purpose of implementing the quota system, will equal the total number of chicks set out for the province or area in the table to this section.

(2) The Agency, in establishing a quota system, shall assign quotas in such manner that the number of pounds of turkey meat produced in a province and authorized to be marketed in interprovincial and export trade in the year 1973, when taken together with the number of pounds of turkey meat produced in the province and authorized to be marketed in intraprovincial trade in the same year, pursuant to quotas assigned by the appropriate Board or Commodity Board, and the number of pounds of turkey meat produced in the province and anticipated to be marketed in the same year, other than as authorized by a quota assigned by the Agency or by the appropriate Board or Commodity Board, will equal the number of pounds of turkey meat set out in section 3 of this Plan for the province.
