Sadly and shamefully, the head of state of an EU member country – President McAleese of the Republic of Ireland – chose that 60th anniversary to launch a vicious and vindictive attack on the majority community in Northern Ireland when she shamefully equated Nazi hatred of Jews to the attitude of Protestants towards Roman Catholics.
De façon tout à fait regrettable et scandaleuse, le chef d’État d’un État membre de l’UE - la présidente de la République d’Irlande, Mme McAleese - a choisi ce 60e anniversaire pour lancer une attaque vicieuse et vindicative contre la communauté majoritaire d’Irlande du Nord en assimilant scandaleusement l’attitude des protestants à l’égard des catholiques romains à la haine nazie envers les juifs.
