After the welcome and opening addresses by Commissioner Bjerregaard and President for the Environment Council, Mr. Lahure, and introductory statements by ministers from the CEECs, the discussions in the morning will focus on two items presented by Mrs Bjerregaard: (1) A progress report on environmental approximation in the associated countries in Central and Eastern Europe and (2) A guide to the approximation of EU environmental legislation.
