– (PL) Mr President, it is an unfortunate fact that the historic breakthrough which in Poland led to the formation of a democratic government in 1989, and which subsequently brought about the fall of the Berlin Wall and the disintegration of the entire Moscow-led Communist bloc, did not lead to the emergence of a democratic regime respectful of human rights in all the former Communist bloc countries.
- (PL) Monsieur le Président, il est malheureux que la percée historique qui a débouché en Pologne sur la formation d’un gouvernement démocratique en 1989 et ensuite à la chute du Mur de Berlin et à la désintégration du bloc communiste à la botte de Moscou, n’a pas entraîné l’émergence d’un régime démocratique respectueux des droits de l’homme dans tous les pays de l’ancien bloc de l’Est.
