According to a legal opinion received by the council, this loophole could be eliminated quite easily by including in the general regulations of the Fisheries Act provisions specifically stating that the legal interest of the holder of a fishing licence and the related beneficial interest of the fishing licence are inseparable.
Selon un avis juridique qui a été donné au Conseil, on pourrait éliminer facilement cette échappatoire en intégrant au Règlement de pêche afférent à la Loi sur les pêches des dispositions stipulant expressément que l'intérêt en common law du titulaire d'un permis de pêche et l'intérêt bénéficiaire qui s'y rapporte sont indissociables.
