– (PT) Monsieur le Président, avant tout, je voudrais attirer l’attention sur l’importance que le groupe du Parti populaire européen (Démocrates-Chrétiens), et plus précisément les Portugais du groupe PPE, accordent au prochain Conseil, à la solution qui a été trouvée – qui est franchement meilleure par rapport aux attentes de l’époque – et, en particulier, au travail de mes collègues, MM. Brok et Gualtieri. Ceux-ci ont préparé le rapport au nom du Parlement, en accord avec les positions de la Commission, en rapprochant le financement d’un procédé suivant clairement la méthode communautaire et en l’éloignant de ce qui serait la solution intergouvernementale.
