(a) when two vessels are approaching, from opposite directions, a swing bridge that does not provide separate channels for up and down traffic and curtails the normal width of the navigation channel, the downbound vessel shall have the right-of-way, the upbound vessel holding back so that the vessels will pass each other at least 300 feet below the bridge;
a) quand deux navires, venant à la rencontre l’un de l’autre, s’approchent d’un pont tournant n’offrant pas de chenaux distincts au trafic remontant et descendant et restreignant la largeur normale du chenal de navigation, le navire descendant a le droit de passage et le navire remontant doit ralentir afin que la rencontre s’effectue à 300 pieds au moins en aval du pont;
