As regards the first of the abovementioned transactions, the Commission concluded, on the basis of information concerning the price paid some months earlier by HIBEG to Krupp for the acquisition of both Seebeckwerft and VFW + Verwaltungsgesellschaft, that Bremer Vulkan did not acquire Seebeckwerft below its market value and that accordingly no state aid was involved.
