The current president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, reorganized one part of the oil industry and created a new office, but just last year the Corruption Eradication Commission, which was set up 2002 as part of the reforms, arrested the head of that new agency that was supposed to solve the problem of corruption — red-handed with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash in his office and home and so forth.
