Since the two measures complement each other, entry into force of the Regulation introducing export controls on cultural goods was linked to publication of the Directive.2 The Commission will now adopt its implementing regulation, and uniform controls on exports of cultural goods will thus be applied at external frontiers from 1 April 1993.
