– (EL) Madam President, Commissioner, at a time when, politically, the fundamental principles of cohesion and solidarity in the EU are under attack on all sides, especially from neo-nationalist movements, and we all know who they are, the Commission should, in my opinion, make it its daily task to crush anyone who attacks the symbols of European political unification.
– (EL) Madame la Présidente, Madame la commissaire, à l’heure où, politiquement, les principes fondamentaux de cohésion et de solidarité dans l’Union européenne sont attaqués de toutes parts, surtout par des mouvements néo nationalistes, et que nous savons tous de qui il s’agit, la Commission devrait, selon moi, tâcher quotidiennement d’écraser quiconque attaque les symboles de l’unification politique européenne.
