Reforms, or the lack of them, in one country affect the performance of all others, as recent events have shown; moreover, the crisis and severe constraints in public spending have made it more difficult for some Member States to provide sufficient funding for the basic infrastructure they need in areas such as transport and energy not only to develop their own economies but also to help them participate fully in the internal market.
Les réformes, ou leur absence, dans un pays affectent la performance de tous les autres, comme l’ont montré les événements récents. En outre, en raison de la crise et des contraintes sévères qu’elle a fait peser sur les dépenses publiques, il est plus difficile pour les États membres de fournir des financements suffisants aux infrastructures essentielles dont ils ont besoin dans des secteurs comme les transports et l’énergie, non seulement pour développer leurs propres économies, mais aussi pour les aider à participer pleinement au marché intérieur.
