Provision of any information concerning investigations conducted by the Office to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission or the Court of Auditors, whether bilaterally or as part of an exchange of views, should respect the confidentiality of investigations, the legitimate rights of the persons concerned and, where applicable, the national provisions governing judicial proceedings.
La communication d’informations concernant les enquêtes menées par l’Office au Parlement européen, au Conseil, à la Commission et à la Cour des comptes, soit de manière bilatérale, soit dans le cadre de l’échange de vues, devrait s’effectuer dans le respect de la confidentialité des enquêtes, des droits légitimes des personnes concernées et, le cas échéant, des dispositions nationales applicables aux procédures judiciaires.

4. The Director-General shall report regularly to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission and the Court of Auditors on the findings of investigations carried out by the Office, the action taken and the problems encountered, whilst respecting the confidentiality of the investigations, the legitimate rights of the persons concerned and of informants, and, where appropriate, national law applicable to judicial proceedings.
4. 8. Each institution shall inform the Court of Auditors, the European Parliament and the Council of the appointment and release of authorising officers by delegation, internal auditors and accounting officers, and of any internal rules it adopts in respect of financial matters.

2. The procedure laid down in Chapter 2 shall be followed when the Management Board decides not to derogate from it, when the Council decides not to extend the term of office of the Director or the Deputy Director concerned or when the Council fails to take a decision in this respect within three months after the receipt of the Management Board opinion.
2. La procédure énoncée au chapitre 2 est suivie quand le conseil d’administration décide de ne pas y déroger, quand le Conseil décide de ne pas renouveler le mandat du directeur ou du directeur adjoint concerné ou quand le Conseil ne statue pas à cet effet dans les trois mois suivant la réception de l’avis du conseil d’administration.
