The jury made their choice according to the quality of the projects submitted, the potential circulation of the work translated, and taking account of the priorities set out below: 1 - works written in one of the Community's minority languages into the more widely spoken languages; 2 - works written in one of the minority languages into other minority languages; 3 - works written in a widely spoken Community language into Community's minority languages ; 4 - works written in a widely spoken Community language into other widely spoken Community languages. 5 - a fifth priority, not mentioned in the Official Journal, was added concerning works published in third countries and non-Community countries which are signatories of the European Cultural Convention.
