We can bring them to a conclusion speedily through this Directive on the safety of third-country aircraft, and, ladies and gentlemen, I would like once again to express our condolences for the victims and say that we must continue to work to improve safety in the air sector, firstly, naturally, in European airspace, in relation to aircraft which leave Europe for other places, but also at world level, because, however much information we provide – and naturally we must do so, to increase transparency in the information tour operators give their clients, stating which company is going to provide the transport, stating exactly which companies they work with – this is important and will improve safeguards and information for our citizens and our passengers, and there can be no doubt that we – Europeans or non-Europeans – must fight to improve safety in air traffic and in international civil aviation.
Nous pouvons les mener rapidement à terme grâce à cette directive concernant la sécurité des aéronefs des pays tiers. Mesdames et Messieurs, je voudrais encore une fois présenter nos condoléances aux familles des victimes et déclarer que nous devons continuer d’œuvrer en faveur de l’amélioration de la sécurité dans le secteur aérien, en premier lieu, bien sûr, dans l’espace aérien européen, dans les avions reliant l’Europe à d’autres pays, mais également au niveau mondial. En effet, nous avons beau informer - et nous devons évidemment le faire, nous devons augmenter la transparence des informations fournies par les tour-opérateurs à leurs clients, en spécifiant la compagnie utilisée pour le transport, en précisant clairement avec quelles compagnies ils travaillent, ce qui est important et ce qui améliorera les garanties et les informations données à nos concitoyens et à nos passagers -, il ne fait aucun doute qu’en Europe ou ailleurs, il est nécessaire de s’efforcer d’améliorer la sécurité dans le trafic aérien et dans l’aviation civile internationale.
