BREVETS COMMUNAUTAIRES - DECLARATION DU CONSEIL Afin de relancer le processus de ratification de l'Accord en matière de brevets communautaires signé en 1989 et d'accélérer son entrée en vigueur, les Représentants des Etats membres réunis au sein du Conseil ont adopté la déclaration commune suivante : "Les représentants des Etats membres réunis au sein du Conseil, soucieux de favoriser l'achèvement du marché intérieur ainsi que la création d'une communauté européenne de la technologie, considérant qu'il importe à cet égard que le système du brevet communautaire entre sans tarder en application, eu égard aux obligations qu'assumeront les Etats membres adhérents en ce qui concerne l'adhésion aux accords déjà signés par les Etats membres, se référant à la déclaration des chefs d'Etats et de gouvernement, du 29 octobre 1993, relative au siège de la Cour d'appel commune en matière de brevet communautaire, confirment qu'il est souhaitable que l'Accord en matière de brevets communautaires du 15 décembre 1989, entre en vigueur le plus rapidement possible, expriment la conviction que les difficultés rencontrées jusqu'à présent par certains Etats signataires peuvent être surmontées, expriment le ferme espoir que l'entrée en vigueur de l'Accord pour l'ensemble des douze Etats signataires est possible".
