Chapter I on the Community Patent Court contains two major elements. Articles 1 to 3 of the Decision contain provisions which set up the Community Patent Court, determine the EC Treaty provisions to be applied to the Community Patent Court and provide a legal basis for an annex to the Protocol on the Statute of the Court of Justice containing the Statute provisions as applied by the Community Patent Court.
