This Regulation lays down rules concerning the application of financial penalties to the holders of marketing authorisations, granted under Regulation (EC) No 726/2004, in respect of infringements of the following obligations, in cases where the infringement concerned may have significant public health implications in the Community, or where it has a Community dimension by taking place or having its effects in more than one Member State, or where interests of the Community are involved:

The Commission's experience is that the criteria in Article 1(2) remain effective in identifying mergers that have a real Community dimension as opposed to a national dimension.

Ce déploiement international du programme a donné lieu à des améliorations structurelles notables, avec la création et l’instauration dans différents pays d’offices centraux nationaux chargés de la lutte contre la falsification de la monnaie. Nous avons pu compter sur la participation systématique de la Banque centrale européenne, ainsi que d’autres organisations telles qu’Europol, l’OLAF et Interpol.

(10) A concentration with a Community dimension should be deemed to exist where the aggregate turnover of the undertakings concerned exceeds given thresholds; that is the case irrespective of whether or not the undertakings effecting the concentration have their seat or their principal fields of activity in the Community, provided they have substantial operations there.
