Definition: A group of disorders in which anxiety is evoked only, or predominantly, in certain well-defined situations that are not currently dangerous. As a result these situations are characteristically avoided or endured with dread. The patient's concern may be focused on individual symptoms like palpitations or feeling faint and is often associated with secondary fears of dying, losing control, or going mad. Contemplating entry to the phobic situation usually generates anticipatory anxiety. Phobic anxiety and depression often coexist. SE FELICITE du progrès vers la mise en place d'une stratégie intégrée de gestion des zones côtières déjà réalisé dans plusieurs Etats membres au niveau national; RECONNAIT également la contribution susceptible d'être apportée à une telle stratégie par plusieurs mesures communautaires existantes, dont notamment la mise en oeuvre de la directive sur la conservation des habitats naturels ainsi que de la faune et de la flore sauvages (2), de la directive concernant la conservation des oiseaux sauvages (3) et de la directive concernant l'évaluation des incidences de certains projets publics et privés sur l'environnement (4) ainsi que l'utilisation de certains instruments financiers appropriés; RENOUVELLE son invitation à la Commission à proposer dans un délai de six mois au plus tard, en vue de renforcer l'action coordonnée dans ce domaine et dans le respect du principe de subsidiarité, une stratégie communautaire de gestion intégrée de l'ensemble du littoral communautaire qui, tout en tenant compte des problèmes et potentialités spécifiques des différentes zones, fournira un cadre pour sa conservation et son utilisation durable; S'ENGAGE à examiner avec priorité une telle proposition dès qu'elle est soumise et dans la perspective d'actions communautaires supplémentaires éventuelles à mettre en place à la lumière de cet examen; INVITE les Etats membres à renforcer leurs propres efforts en vue d'accroître davantage la protection des zones côtières dans l'ensemble de la Communauté".
