6. In illustration of the foregoing, we should note the way in which the three Transcaucasian peoples - Georgian, Armenians and Azeris - clashed during the Bolshevik Revolution, when the Czarist empire collapsed, and also how Communist Russia joined forces with nationalist Turkey to put an end to the independence of the three States (1918-1920) by exploiting their rivalries.
Afin d'illustrer ces propos, il est intéressant de noter comment les trois peuples de Transcaucasie - Géorgiens, Arméniens, Azéris - se sont affrontés au moment de la Révolution bolchevique, quand l'Empire tsariste s'est effondré et comment la Russie (communiste) s'est alliée à la Turquie (nationaliste) pour mettre fin aux indépendances des trois Etats (1918-1920), en exploitant les rivalités entre les peuples de Transcaucasie.
