What we will be voting on tomorrow will be the fulfilment of an international undertaking on the part of the European Union in a manner commensurate with the EU’s status as a community based on law. This is, therefore, a duty incumbent on all of us, and so I ask all members of this House to express their approval of the Commission proposal tomorrow.
Demain, lors du vote, il s’agira de remplir une obligation internationale de l’Union européenne d’une manière conforme au statut de l’UE, communauté fondée sur le droit. Il nous incombe dès lors à tous - et j’y invite tous les députés de ce Parlement - d’approuver demain la proposition de la Commission.
