On 1 June 2005 the Commission adopted the initiative “i2010[1]: European Information Society 2010 for growth and employment” as a comprehensive strategy for modernising and deploying all EU policy instruments to encourage the development of the digital economy. i2010 consists of three pillars: a Single European Information Space, Innovation and Investment, and an Inclusive European Information Society.

Pursuant to the second subparagraph of Article 96(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 it is necessary to specify common categories of intervention for the ERDF, the ESF and Cohesion Fund to enable Member States to submit to the Commission consistent information on the programmed use of the these Funds as well as information on the cumulative allocation and expenditure of these Funds by category and the number of operations throughout the application period of a programme.
En application de l’article 96, paragraphe 2, second alinéa, du règlement (UE) no 1303/2013, il convient de définir des catégories d’intervention communes pour le FEDER, le FSE et le Fonds de cohésion, afin de permettre aux États membres de soumettre à la Commission des informations cohérentes sur l’utilisation programmée de ces Fonds, ainsi que des informations sur les dotations cumulées et les dépenses de ces Fonds par catégorie et sur le nombre d'opérations tout au long de la période d’application d'un programme.

Pursuant to the second subparagraph of Article 8(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1299/2013, it is necessary to specify common categories of intervention for programmes under the European territorial cooperation goal to enable Member States to submit to the Commission consistent information on the programmed use of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as well as information on the cumulative allocation and expenditure of the ERDF by category and the number of operations throughout the application period of a programme.
En application de l’article 8, paragraphe 2, deuxième alinéa, du règlement (UE) no 1299/2013, il convient de définir des catégories communes d’intervention pour les programmes au titre de l’objectif «Coopération territoriale européenne» pour permettre aux États membres de soumettre à la Commission des informations cohérentes sur l’utilisation programmée du Fonds européen de développement régional (FEDER), ainsi que des informations sur le budget cumulé alloué et sur les dépenses du FEDER par catégorie et le nombre d'opérations tout au long de la période d’application du programme.

With respect to the requested information it is noted that the Commission requested only information concerning allegations in the complaint that is deemed necessary for the purposes of arriving at a representative finding and remained consistent in its requests by asking for the same data and information during the investigating process and requesting the GOC to explain the submitted information and its implication for the investigated schemes.

In 2006 and 2007, the Commission presented a comprehensive legislative package consisting of three instruments: Council Framework Decision 2008/675/JHA obliging Member States to take account of previous convictions in new criminal proceedings; Council Framework Decision 2009/315/JHA on the organisation and content of the exchange of information extracted from criminal records; and Council Decision 2009/316/JHA establishing ECRIS as the technical means of exchanging information extracted from criminal records.[47] Due to be implemented by April 2012, Council Framework Decisions 2009/315/JHA and 2009/316/JHA aim to define the ways in which a convicting Member State must transmit information concerning a new conviction to the Member State(s) of the convicted person’s nationality, storage obligations, and a framework for a computerised system of information exchange.
En 2006 et 2007, la Commission a présenté un ensemble complet de mesures législatives composé de trois instruments: la décision-cadre 2008/675/JAI du Conseil obligeant les États membres à prendre en compte les décisions de condamnation antérieures à l’occasion d’une nouvelle procédure pénale; la décision-cadre 2009/315/JAI du Conseil concernant l'organisation et le contenu des échanges d'informations extraites des casiers judiciaires; et la décision 2009/316/JAI du Conseil relative à la création de l’ECRIS comme moyen technique d’échanger des informations extraites des casiers judiciaires[47]. Devant être mises en œuvre au plus tard en avril 2012, les décisions-cadres 2009/315/JAI et 2009/316/JAI du Conseil visent à définir les procédures selon lesquelles un État membre prononçant une condamnation doit transmettre les informations relatives à une nouvelle condamnation à l’État membre ou aux États membres de nationalité de la personne condamnée, à préciser les obligations en matière de stockage et à arrêter un cadre pour un système informatisé d’échange d’informations.
