At that meeting, an examination of the proposal for a Council directive codifying Council Directive 89/662/EEC of 11 December 1989 concerning veterinary checks in intra-Community trade with a view to the completion of the internal market resulted in the Consultative Working Party’s establishing, by common accord, that the proposal constitutes a straightforward codification of existing texts, without any change in their substance.
Au cours de la réunion, après examen de la proposition de directive du Conseil codifiant la directive 89/662/CEE du Conseil du 11 décembre 1989 relative aux contrôles vétérinaires applicables dans les échanges intracommunautaires dans la perspective de la réalisation du marché intérieur, le groupe de travail consultatif a, d'un commun accord, conclu que la proposition se limite à une codification pure et simple de textes existants, sans aucune modification de leur substance.
