On the basis of the observations made in the context of that decision, the Flemish authorities have amended the rules of the scheme in such a way that the intensity of the aid cannot now exceed the ceilings normally authorized by the Commission, and they have made provision for the publication and widespread distribution of an annual report on the research projects assisted, with a view to making the operation of the scheme more transparent and enabling the results to be disseminated more widely.
