17.9 (1) In addition to the inspections carried out under section 17.3, a visual inspection of every building to which subsection 17.4(1) applies shall be carried out by a qualified person at least once every six months and shall include an inspection of all fire escapes, exits, stairways and fire protection equipment in the building in order to ensure that they are in serviceable condition and ready for use at all times.

14 (1) The superintendent, after carrying out an inspection pursuant to section 13 and determining that a cottage or an accessory building does not conform to these Regulations, shall issue a written notice to the occupant or owner of the cottage or accessory building specifying the remedial measures required to bring the cottage or accessory building up to the standards prescribed by these Regulations.

43. Construction or installation of an interpretive display or exhibit associated with a building, road, pull-off area or trail if the construction or installation does not require the expansion of any related facilities or is to be carried out in a special preservation area or a wilderness area set out in a management plan tabled in each House of Parliament in accordance with section 32 of the Parks Canada Agency Act or section 11 of the Canada National Parks Act.
43. Subject to section 6, no person shall erect or construct, on any land to which these Regulations apply, any building, structure or object or any addition to any existing building, structure or object, the highest point of which will exceed in elevation at the location of the highest point any of the surfaces hereinafter set out that project immediately over and above the surface of the land at that location, namely,
