The reality is that the funding, coupled with the advisory committee set up by the bill, is clearly inadequate to meet the needs and objectives of what we in British Columbia have to do to repair the infrastructure after decades of neglect, but also inadequate for us as the province of British Columbia and also as the country of Canada to respond to the need to diversify our trade markets, because very clearly the trade strategy of the current government has been a failure.
Le fait est que le financement, de même que le comité consultatif créé aux termes du projet de loi, est nettement insuffisant non seulement pour répondre aux besoins et aux objectifs de réparation de l'infrastructure de la Colombie-Britannique après des décennies de négligence, mais également insuffisant pour répondre à la nécessité pour la province et le reste du Canada de diversifier leurs marchés commerciaux, car il est bien clair que la stratégie commerciale du gouvernement actuel est un échec.
